My name is Kevin Bedgood and I make lathe sculpted artwork. I am best known for large, turned wall sculptures and delicate, highly detailed turned wood boxes / lidded containers.
I am a full time woodturner and woodturning instructor with more than 20 years’ experience. Woodturning is truly my passion and I spend as much time creating in my shop as possible. When not in my shop, I am teaching woodturning classes. I also work as the US National Educator for Robert Sorby Woodturning Tools based in Sheffield England. They are the number one supplier of Woodturning tools in the world. What does all that mean? It means I get to travel all over the US, teach woodturning and demonstrate woodturning tools, all while I make sawdust. What a life!

As far as my use of natural resources for my artwork, I make a huge effort to be as ecologically responsible as possible with my woodwork. I use as much salvage material as possible and much of my other material is grown specifically for commercial purposes.
